The Hollywood community is still reeling from the news that legendary actor is retiring from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia.
The news was announced by the 67-year-old actor’s oldest daughter Rumer, 33, who took to her Instagram story with the news on Wednesday morning.
The actor hasn’t been seen in a major Hollywood studio since the 2019 Warner Bros. film Motherless Brooklyn, but he has been staying incredibly busy, making a whopping 15 films in the past two years… with eight more currently awaiting release.

Aphasia is described by the as, ‘a disturbance of the comprehension and formulation of language caused by dysfunction in specific brain regions.’
His daughter Rumer said the disease was, ‘impacting his cognitive abilities,’ which ultimately lead to his retirement.
There have been rumors going all the way back to 2015, when Willis made his Broadway debut in a stage adaptation of Stephen King’s Misery, that he was using an earpiece that fed his lines to him.

Since late 2019, Willis made a whopping 21 feature films, 15 of which have already been released, most, if not all, going straight to video.
Among them are 10 Minutes Gone with Michael Chiklis, Trauma Center with Nicky Whelan, Survive the Night with Chad Michael Murray, Hard Kill with Jesse Metcalfe and Breach with Thomas Jane.
He also made Midnight in the Switchgrass with Megan Fox and Emile Hirsch, Deadlock with Patrick Muldoon, Fortress with Jesse Metcalfe and Chad Michael Murray and his most recent film, A Day to Die with Frank Grillo and Kevin Dillon, which was released earlier in March.
